I have been after a Dogwood image in Yosemite for ages. The seemingly simple subject is....not! The fragile blooms do not last long in the park, and when they do, they are usually accompanied by spring breezes - making them very difficult to capture a sharp image of. The dark water coupled with streaks of light and softly lit flowers was precisely what I have been waiting for. I had perhaps 3 sharp frames when the flowers were not bouncing up and down above the river, and the dark water streaked with light makes this one the winner.
